More Lansing Area Road Construction To Be Aware Of

More orange barrels are popping up in the Lansing area.

According to WILX, there's going to be some road work on Pennsylvania that will have a small portion of it closed. Northbound Pennsylvania Avenue between Jolly and Cavanaugh roads will be closed for approximately for the next four weeks during the road construction.

Drivers are being advised of delays because of the closure, but if you'd like to avoid it all together, there is a detour in place. Go east on Jolly, then north on Aurelius, from there head west on Cavanaugh, then finally return to Pennsylvania. During the road work, southbound Pennsylvania will be open to traffic.
