It was just last month that Mitten Raised Bakery announced it would be moving from Okemos to a new location in East Lansing. And now its doors are finally open!

The Lansing State Journal reports that Mitten Raised Bakery has its new home set up in the Brookfield Plaza, the corner of Grand River and Hagadorn in East Lansing, where the old Red Cedar Cafe used to be. And although the space is a bit larger than Katie Lambert, the owner of Mitten Raised Bakery, had wanted, she says "it gives [them] the perfect opportunity to grow."

Extra space isn't the only new thing for Lambert and Mitten Raised Bakery. The new space is brighter, there are lots of new chairs and couches to get comfy on and enjoy your sweet treat, and there are all new menu items too! In addition to all the cookies, cupcakes, doughnuts, croissants, bars, and every other confection offered up at Mitten Raised, they now offer breakfast sandwiches!
