Lansing’s Big Penny Has Mini-Me’s Hidden Around Town
The name Big Penny has become synonymous with famous celebrities—dare I say, people—of Lansing. Big Penny, the Too-Tall Trunk Munching Bridge is right up there with the famous smokestacks Wynken, Blynken, and Nod and even the World's Largest Lug Nut, which sits atop a smokestack at The Nuthouse.

Where to Find Mini Big Pennys in Lansing
If you need a little dose of Big Penny while her eyes and fangs are missing, here are a few other places you can spot her mini-mes around Lansing:

When you get to the main entrance at Potter Park Zoo, look up! There, you'll spy a mini Big Penny watching over you as you cross the threshold into the zoo.
Near the "LANSING" Sign
This is located on the northeast corner of N Grand Ave and Saginaw Hwy near the "LANSING" sign and across from the Play Michigan! playground.
On Michigan Avenue Near Downtown Lansing
This can be spotted on the south side of Michigan Avenue just west of The Exchange.

These are just a few of the mini tributes to our beloved bridge, Big Penny. If you know of any other mini Big Pennys in town, send me a message and let me know!
