Michigan UFO Turns Out To Be Space Selfie-Stick
Saturday morning, a piece of space junk came down onto a Michigan horse farm near Merrill, Michigan (west of Saginaw). According to ABC News, the contraption was, uh... something... owned by Samsung. The official Samsung explanation is: "Earlier today, Samsung Europe’s SpaceSelfie balloon came back down to earth. During this planned descent of the balloon to land in the U.S., weather conditions resulted in an early soft landing in a selected rural area. No injuries occurred and the balloon was subsequently retrieved. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused." Actually, the balloon part came down further west near Wheeler, Michigan
This device was supposed to take photos from the stratosphere for use as a background for selfies taken by Samsung customers. Samsung made a big deal out of launching the SpaceSelfie balloon, surrounded by celebrities in London, last week. HOWEVER - according to the owners of the Merrill farm, the guy who came to pick up the debris said it had been launched in Iowa last Friday. Another UFO cover-up.
