It was a big night for former MSU great, Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors. According to ESPN, the Warriors earned their league-record 73rd victory by beating Memphis 125-104. Golden State's 73-9 record tops the previous best record in the NBA of 72-10 set by the Chicago Bulls in 1995-96. By the way, that wasn't the only record set last night--Golden State's Stephen Curry needed eight 3-pointers to reach 400 on the season and 41 points for a 30-point average--he accomplished both things in last night's game. Curry hit 10 3-pointers and scored a game-high 46 points.

For the record, (see what I did there) Draymond Green scored 11 points, had nine rebounds and seven assists in the record-setting game for Golden State.

Now--let me tell you the story behind the photo below. This picture was taken back in 2010 before a Carrie Underwood concert. The WITL Staff (and my son, Hunter) were waiting for some backstage winners near the ticket office at the Breslin Center when Draymond happened to walk by. And of course, I had to get a picture! (He was very nice--and patient--with our bunch of goofy staff members!)
