Michigan Native Writes & Films New Movie Throughout State
The movie is all about dreams becoming reality, and for one Michigan born screenwriter, it's about to be her dream come true.
Just Another Dream is the creation of screenwriter Jennifer Nichole Lee ( Franz) a native Michigander. Franz was born in Wyandotte, Michigan and has been involved in movies such as Into the Storm, but she took to writing her latest project.
Just Another Dream stars Dean Cain, of Superman fame and Kristy Swanson, knows for Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The film is described as a "inspirational, family friendly, and unique coming of age story has an unexpected twist that brings suspenseful Sci-Fi elements".
The plot of Franz's film surrounds a teenage girl dreams of a terrible crime that ends up taking place, she discovers that her dreams are premonitions of things to come. When her dream involves her family she races to save the dream from becoming reality.
Franz new that once the film was written, the movie needed to be shot in her home state of Michigan. She wrote the film in just 3 months and filming wrapped up in October of last year. The film features a Michigan based casting crew outside of the lead notable cast.
Franz filmed Just Another Dream all around the state including Metro Detroit, Royal Oak, and as far north as Saginaw, Brownstown, all the way over to Tecumseh, and even Linden.
The film will be available June 15 on streaming and cable platforms in the U.S. and Canada including: Amazon, iTunes, GooglePlay, Vudu, Vimeo as well as On Demand and on DVD.
