Parents are very upset to find out liquor was given to students at snack time.  The person who brought the adult beverage to school shocked everyone.

Multiple Kindergartners are reported to have consumed ready-to-drink Jose Cuervo margaritas.  Oddly enough, it was not an adult that brought the adult beverages into school.  It was another kindergartner.  The young girl allegedly poured her "juice" into her classmate's cup before telling them what the drink really was according to one of the parents interviewed by Fox 2 Detroit,

The girl poured it in her cup and she drank it and the girl ended up telling her what it is, and she went and told the teacher there is liquor in this cup, and the teacher gave her a funny face.

The incident happened last week at the Grand River Academy, which is a K-8 tuition-free public charter school in Livonia, Michigan.  Local parents are rightfully angry.  Along with anger over an incident like this comes blame.  Even though the kindergartner knew what she did was wrong, she's clearly too young to understand the gravity of her actions.  With that being said, the upset parents are pointing their frustration at the school's administration.  They want to know how they could allow a single-serving bottle of liquor into the school.  The student allegedly brought the adult beverage into school in her backpack.  The school released a statement explaining that it is simply impossible to catch everything students sneak into the school.  Let's be honest, who would've thought you would have to check kindergartner students for alcohol?

What do you think should happen as a result of this incident?  Should the school be held accountable?  How about the parents of the child that brought the liquor bottle into the school?
