Michigan Has Second Highest Drug Use Problem In U.S.
New figures released this week by WalletHub show that Michigan's drug use problem continues to climb. In the new numbers released this week, Michigan landed at number two on the list of states with the highest number of drug use cases. The methodology that was used to create the list is a bit complex as several different factors were considered by WalletHub in order to determine which states have the biggest drug problems. Some of those factors include drug use and addiction, law enforcement and drug health issues and rehab.
The District of Columbia was ranked first as the state with the most drug use cases in 2019. Other states in the top ten include New Mexico, Colorado, Arkansas, Kentucky, New Hampshire, Missouri, West Virginia and Indiana.
