If you're traveling this Thanksgiving holiday, you'll be spending a lot less money this year at the gas pump. According to Triple A, we will be seeing the lowest gas prices in two years this Thanksgiving. Gas prices fell another 12 cents last week and Triple A says that the state average is the lowest since February. Officials with Triple A said that this pace of gasoline prices means that by this Thursday, gas prices should be an average of $2.45 which would make them the lowest in two years.

More than 1.7 million residents in Michigan are expected to be traveling this week for the Thanksgiving holiday. Triple A says that 1.6 million of those travelers will be traveling by car. Currently the highest gas prices can be found in Marquette, Ann Arbor and Traverse City.
