Michigan DNR Will Host Bear Hunting Clinics
Have you always wanted to hunt a bear? If so, you might be interested in knowing that the Michigan Department of Natural Resources will be hosting a series of bear hunting clinics later this month and also in August. The programs will be held on July 29th, August 5th and August 11th. The bear hunting clinic will be held at the Carl T. Johnson Hunting and Fishing Center in Cadillac, Michigan and will cost $30. According to Up North Live, if you attend the bear hunting clinic, you'll hear from experienced hunters and DNR educators about the basics of bear hunting including habitat, gear, stand placement, baiting, rules and regulations, carcass care and hide care.
