Michigan Cottage Prices Going Up

If you're thinking about selling your cottage Up North - or buying one - now's the time. Prices are going up. The reason: inventory is down and demand is up.

According to the Detroit Free Press, there's a shortage of vacation home properties Up North to choose from. Especially for those under $1 million. Yeah, that's the problem I'm having. (Who's buying these things?)

Of course it costs (or pays - depending on your situation) to be on the water. According to the article, you're going to have to spend some bucks to be on the water on Torch Lake or Elk Lake.
