There's some major road construction starting in East Lansing that will be affecting lots of motorists over the next few weeks. According to FOX 47, starting today (Monday, May 6th, 2019) the intersection of Harrison Road and Michigan Avenue will be closed as crews will be doing underground work as part of the city's Infrastructure Restructure to make upgrades to the underground sewer system.

According to the City of East Lansing website, the intersection will be closed to traffic for approximately six weeks. There are several other projects in the East Lansing area that are scheduled to get underway in June. Click here to see their map of locations affected by the Infrastructure Restructure.
