During these times health insurance is becoming a big issue. If you lost your job recently, you can still get health insurance. According to WILX, the state of Michigan has said that there is a solution for people who have lost their jobs or have experienced hardships that unfortunately have forced people to lose their healthcare.

The state has options if you lost your healthcare as they have low or no-cost healthcare options available through the Affordable Care Act Marketplace, Medicaid, or the Children's Health Insurance Program. In addition, you don't have to wait for the Open Enrollment Period, you can apply for it now and you should as there is a Special Enrollment Period. The Special Enrollment Period is open to anyone that lost their job or healthcare but you have to make sure you check all of the healthcare options within 60 days of losing your healthcare.

You can check if you are eligible and check out all of the options on health insurance here.
