Put those collectibles in storage - Michael Waltrip Racing is cooked. MWR today released Clint Bowyer from his contract for next year, so he can find another ride.

According to USA Today, the racing team Michael Waltrip started in 2007 has now lost the support of Toyota AND co-owner Rob Kauffman, who will be joining Chip Ganassi Racing as a co-owner next year.

If you're a Clint Bowyer fan, don't worry - he's in great shape. The two best guesses on his future are him going with Kauffman, with the 5-Hour Energy sponsorship, to the Ganassi team - or looking for a ride with a smaller team for just next year, while he negotiates a 2017 deal with one of the superstar teams like Gibbs, Hendricks or Roush-Fenway.
