The CDC is currently worried of a listeria outbreak, linked to Almark Foods of Gainesville, Georgia.

The CDC is asking people with a weakened immune system, are 65 years or if you're pregnant, you avoid store-bought hard-boiled eggs, or products with hard boiled eggs in them.

If you did happen to buy these products, the CDC is advising you to sanitize the fridge or freezer where the product was stored.

This does not apply to homemade hard-boiled eggs, or store bought eggs.

If you are going to eat food with hard-boiled eggs at a restaurant, confirm with the restaurant if they use Almark Foods or not.
