Listen: Stephanie Chats With Lansing Area American Idol Contestant

We told you earlier this week that a Lansing area contestant was going to be part of this season of American Idol on ABC. (Click here to see the original story.) If you missed the news, his name is Jacob Moran and he was born and raised in Dansville, Michigan and graduated from Dansville High School in 2012. Jacob is a registered nurse and recently got a full-time job at Sparrow. He also works at the Dobie Road care facility and admits that sometimes he sings to the residents at the facility. (You might actually get to see some of that in the upcoming episode that will show Jacob.)

Jacob couldn't reveal too much about what happens on the show. (He couldn't even tell us what song he sings for his audition.) You'll be able to see Jacob's audition on the American Idol episode on ABC that will air on Sunday, March 17th at 8pm.
