Friday night was the night for another great Silver Bells in the City and yet another great radio play on LCC Radio 89.7 WLNZ. For the past thirteen years LCC Radio has produced and aired plays that take listeners, viewers and the evenings attendees at Dart Auditorium back to the Golden Age of Radio, when the medium was our nation's only form of broadcast entertainment.

Over the years, WLNZ has aired their versions of everything from "A Christmas Carol" to "Little Shop of Horrors" and this year's broadcast was "The Imminent Rise of Anti-Claus", an original radio play created by station manager, Daedalian Lowry who again directed this year. The play was produced once again in conjunction with long time Lansing broadcast professional and innovator Dave Downing and his Audio Air Force. Audio Air Force creates original audio material for radio, the internet and CD and is an organization that is specifically interested in preserving the history of theater on radio.

If you missed the radio play on Friday night, just click here to find our when you can check out a replay on LCC Radio or LCC TV. "The Imminent Rise of Anti-Claus" is a fun story with a great message for this time of year and worth a look and/or listen.

Plus, you just might know the guy who played Santa in this year's radio play...
