Lansing Vietnam Vet Wins Big In Michigan Lottery
I love this story.
According to MLive.com, Ernest Spagnuolo, 71, and a Vietnam Vet from Lansing bought a Powerball ticket last week at the Gorman's near the airport. He didn't win the big jackpot, BUT he did win $150,000.
Ernest says, "My wife passed away recently, and I know she was looking out for me on this." He's going to use the money to do some camping and fishing this summer. And it'll also make it possible to go to to the Vietnam Veterans Association Reunion in North Carolina in September.
