28 New Restaurants That Opened in Lansing So Far in 2025

We're officially halfway through 2025 now. And in six months' time, so many restaurants have opened in the Lansing area.

Lansing is no stranger to restaurants coming and going throughout the years, but so far this year, we have seen a lot of places open, a whopping 28 to be exact. Take a look in the list below.

I Heart Mac & Cheese and More in East Lansing

They serve loaded mac & cheese, grilled cheese, pizzas, flatbreads and more. They opened in January.

REO Town Clubhouse

REO Town Clubhouse is a combination pool hall, restaurant, bar, and event space that opened in REO Town on January 7.

Curry House Indian & Nepali Cuisine

Curry House Indian & Nepali Cuisine opened in East Lansing in January. They opened in the former space of Sparty's Kabob.

Château Coffee Co.

Chateau Coffee Co. opened its second location near the end of January.

Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant

Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant opened near Eastwood Towne Center in early February.

Pizza Hut

Pizza Hut opened a location on Lansing's west side on February 4.

Moka & Co.

Moka & Co. is a coffee shop that specializes in Yemini coffee. They opened the second location in Bath Township on February 17.

Wendy's

The Downtown Lansing Wendy's held a grand re-opening celebration in early February.

Angela's Cafe

Angela's Cafe serves breakfast, lunch, coffee, and beverages in East Lansing. They opened in late February in the previous location to Aloha Cookin', which closed in 2024.

7 Brew

7 Brew is a drive-thru coffee spot that opened its first Mid-Michigan location in south Lansing in early March.

Dunkin'

Dunkin' opened a location on Lansing's south side in early March.

Wing-Stop

Wing-Stop opened a location in south Lansing in early March.

Chengdu Teahouse

Chengdu Teahouse opened in Old Town in early March.

Good Truckin'

Good Truckin' moved its flagship diner from its original spot in REO Town to Old Town. The Old Town location opened March 17.

Lebua Thai Bakery & Market

Lebua Thai Bakery & Market opened in East Lansing in early March, right next to Taste of Thai, its parent restaurant.

Sultan's West

They opened on April 7, after moving from their East Lansing location. It's located in the former building of Zaytoon Mediterranean Grill.

D'Nulffos Seafood & Chophouse

They opened in mid-April, sharing a space with The Morning Post.

Mr. Leslie's Cheesecakes

Originally getting its start with Lansing's Allen Neighborhood Center's Accelerator Kitchen, Mr. Leslie's Cheesecakes now has a bakery of its own which opened on April 13.

Dave & Buster's

Dave & Buster's opened near Eastwood Towne Center April 28. A combo restaurant, arcade, and bar.

Bombay Mahal Indian Cuisine

Bombay Mahal Indian Cuisine opened on April 17. It's located on Lansing's west side where Oakland Avenue and Saginaw Street meet.

Foster Coffee Co.

Foster Coffee Co. is originally based in Owosso. They opened an Eaton Rapids location on April 25.

La Mulata

La Mulata opened in south Lansing on April 26.

MK Pho Asian Cuisine

MK Pho Asian Cuisine opened on W Holmes on April 22.

Candy Cafe & Ice Cream

Candy Cafe & Ice Cream opened this sweet shop in Williamston on May 4.

Capital City Sweets

Capital City Sweets opened on May 22 in the Red Cedar Development.

Jollof Afro-Caribbean Lounge

Jollof Afro-Caribbean Lounge opened in Downtown Lansing May 22.

Mexico 2 GO!

Mexico 2 GO! relocated from its Lansing location to its new spot in Potterville on June 5.
