Lansing Lugnuts Will Be Changing Their Name

Yep, it's true!! The Lansing Lugnuts will be changing their name! However, before you start to panic---it's only for one day.

As part of their Backyard Baseball Night promotion on August 18th at Cooley Law School Stadium, the Lansing Lugnuts will be changing their team name and uniform for the night. You can cast your vote until July 18th for the one night only team name. There are several different options to choose from like Super-Duper Bombers, Crazy Monsters or Humongous Fishes. (For the record, I went with Mighty Melonheads.)
