Lansing Group Hosting Mother’s Day Gala For Single Moms

Mothers Day is Monday May 9th, and a time to celebrate one of the most important people in our Life, Mom. After all we would not be here if it was not for Mom. I have great memories of my Mother who I lost when I was in my 20's to colon Cancer. She was only 66, and a wonderful, caring Mom to all us 9 kids.  Thinking back, all the advice she gave me was spot on, even though I did not always listen, but I should have.

This is so cool, just in time for Mothers Day.  Simply Love, has all the single mothers in mind as the big day is right around the corner according to fox47news.com

On Saturday, May1st, Simply Love is having a gala called “Mother’s Day for Single Moms." All to show single mothers they’re loved. The party will give children an opportunity to give their mother’s something special, like they deserve.

Simply Love Love posted on Facebook, “ If you are a single mom and wouldn’t normally receive a Mother’s Day gift then this event is for you! We have a total of 100 spots for single moms and their kids to come and enjoy fresh air while “shopping” free for the perfect Mother’s Day gifts!”

This great event will give kids the fun of picking out many different gifts to include in a gift bag for their Mother. And that's not all, there will be card decorating, and a specific time's for kids to snap a picture with their mom.

And of course everyone needs to play it safe, all must wear a mask, and continue to be following all the guidelines we have been following the past year or so. Happy Mothers Day to all Moms.
