The retail landscape in Lansing's Old Town has added a new business that's part consignment store, part curiosity shop.

Lansing Emporium is now open on Turner Street in Old Town, in the space formerly occupied by Sweet Custom Jewelry before its move around the corner onto East César E. Chávez Avenue earlier this summer.

What Makes Lansing Emporium Unique

At first glance, Lansing Emporium is a consignment shop — but there's more to it than first meets the eye. While the store does offer trendy pre-worn items at a significant discount from new prices, customers will also find a variety of other goods.

The store also sells candles, soaps, silk floral arrangements and an abundance of items that aren't found just anywhere, including handmade mushroom tinctures by Lansing Emporium owner Monica Haladyna.

DIY Workshops Coming Soon

Haladyna says she intends to schedule classes in the near future featuring opportunities for customers to make their own scented candles and more.

Store Hours & Location

Lansing Emporium is currently open Wednesdays through Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day, and on Sundays from noon until 7 p.m. The store is closed Mondays and Tuesdays. It's located at 1232 Turner in Old Town.
