I saw a post on Facebook that said that more snow could be on the way this weekend. I double-checked the date to see if it was an old post and nope...unfortunately, it wasn't. So, here's the deal. According to the National Weather Service, the Lansing area could see a little bit of snow on Saturday night. At this point it looks like it's going to be one of those 'mixed with rain' sort of things but the National Weather Service does say that "new snow accumulation of around 2 inches" is possible for our area on Saturday night.

Again, at this point, (Thursday morning at 9am) it's still a 'mixed with rain' forecast. The exact forecast from the National Weather Service (which of course could change over the next few days) says that we'll see rain showers likely before 10pm on Saturday night and then rain and snow showers will be likely between 10pm and 11pm and then snow showers are likely after 11pm.
