In the city of Lansing, Christmas trees will be picked up from the curbside through the week of January 2nd, on your normal city collection day. Trees will be recycled into mulch, so please make sure trees are free from plastic,ornaments and other materials. If taller than 6 ft, please cut in half.

In Delta Township residents may dispose of their natural Christmas trees now through January 31 at the Parks and Recreation Maintenance Building, which is located on Administration Drive.

In Delhi Township, you can drop off your tree at 1492 Aurelius Road between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, now through January 27th. Please be sure to take off all ornaments and tinsel.

In East Lansing, trees can be placed curbside for collection anytime between now and Friday, January 13, 2017. Advance phone request and stickers are not required. Also, here are some more drop off locations in East Lansing:

  • Patriarche Park- parking lot on Alton Road
  • Emerson Park - Arbor Drive entrance
  • Fine Park - parking lot on Winchester Drive
  • Valley Court Park - South of the Community Center
  • White Memorial Park - parking lot at Pebblebrook Lane
