Lansing Area Chefs Throw Down At Upcoming Food Battles
Two delicious events are coming up that you may want to make room for, both on the calendar AND in your stomach... Pink Dessert Wars and MI Food Fight.
For all my fellow "sweet tooth" peeps out there, dessert's first! This upcoming Tuesday is our 3rd Annual Pink Dessert Wars. Restaurants, bakeries, and caterers will all be competing for best dessert that night at the Radisson in Downtown Lansing. Come on out that evening, taste all the yummy desserts, vote for your favorite for the People's Choice Award, and know that it's all for a great cause; when you purchase your ticket, part of the proceeds goes to benefit Susan G. About a week after that on Thursday the 20th, The Cosmos is hosting Round 6 of MI Food Fight. A competition where two chefs and their food and beverage teams go head-to-head in a culinary battle. Throughout the competition, there will be secret ingredients and surprise twists along the way. The throw down on the 20th pits Chef Dan from The Creole and Chef James from Dusty's against each other. Judges are picked from the audience, and everyone in the audience will be able to try all the food and drinks prepared in competition.
