JR’s Top 11 Picks for Lansing Restaurant Week
Lansing Restaurant Week runs May 9th through the 17th, and it's a great opportunity to try a new place or enjoy a different dish at one of your favorite restaurants.
Participating restaurants all have a special menu item for the week priced at exactly $7. Some places will also have a $5 drink available to mark the occasion.

With more than 100 local restaurants participating in the 2026 installment of Lansing Restaurant Week, there's no way to visit them all — so I thought I might share a few of my personal favorites. These are all places I've been to and would recommend to others.
Capital City BBQ
Just look at this mound of deliciousness!
You've got smoked pulled pork topped with coleslaw. It's served with your choice of BBQ sauces and a side of fries for just $7, this week only.
You can find Capital City BBQ on the corner of MLK and West Saginaw in Lansing.
REO Town Clubhouse
Some bold flavors unite for this one. This is the Italian Hero at REO Town Clubhouse. This week's $7 special features a half portion of their house-made bread (amazing even on its own), filled with prosciutto, salami, capicola, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and Italian dressing. It's served with a side of fries.
REO Town Clubhouse is located on South Washington in Lansing near Island Avenue.
Elsa's Chicken & Waffles
If you haven't tried Elsa's Chicken & Waffles yet, you're missing out. The flavors here are both unique and on-point.
Enjoy Elsa's signature meal this week for just $7. You can find Elsa's Chicken & Waffles on West Jolly Road just east of Waverly.
Art's Pub
Looks like a coney, doesn't it? Not so fast.
The $7 feature at Art's Pub this week is Arthur's Weiner: an all-beef hotdog wrapped in bacon, deep fried and then topped with the restaurant's house-made beer cheese, onions and chorizo. It's served with a side of fries.
Art's Pub is on East Kalamazoo and South Hosmer in Lansing.
Capital City Sweets
Cookie dough and ice cream? Yes, please!
Capital City Sweets, located on East Michigan Avenue in the Red Cedar Development, has a delicious $7 feature for Lansing Restaurant Week.
The 517 Stack includes one scoop of Capital City Sweets' house-made ready-to-eat cookie dough paired with their small batch super-premium ice cream.
Big Boy
The Big Boy locations in St. Johns and Mason, along with Bob's Big Boy in Lansing, are all featuring a Slim Jim with fries for $7 during Lansing Restaurant Week.
This sandwich includes lean ham, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato and Big Boy's signature Slim Jim sauce. It's grilled and pressed crisp, served on a sesame seed Italian roll.
Gravity Smokehouse
Gravity Smokehouse on Cedar Street in Holt is featuring its "517 Burger" for Lansing Restaurant Week.
Basically, build your own cheeseburger and top it however you'd like, with lettuce, tomato, onion, and/or pickles. Comes with a side of fries.
Coach's Pub & Grill
If you think a wrap's a wrap, think again.
This $7 Chicken Snack Wrap at Coach's Pub & Grill on Bishop Road just off M-99 in Lansing is the real deal!
Midtown Brewing Co.
The Midtown Patty Melt is just $7 this week at Midtown Brewing Company on South Washington Square in Lansing.
Ground beef, cheese, extra pickles and thousand island dressing? That's a recipe for deliciousness!
One North Kitchen & Bar
The One North locations in Lansing and East Lansing are both featuring the 1N Smash Burger for just $7 this week.
You get a smashed beef patty with American cheese, shredded lettuce, pickles, and bistro sauce served on a toasted potato roll. It also comes with house-made ranch chips.
WingSnob
Real talk — these are my favorite wings in town. To the point that wings from anywhere else feel disappointing.
All this week at either the WingSnob in Frandor or Delta Township, get the 6-piece boneless meal deal (including fries and a drink) for just $7. I recommend either the garlic parmesan sauce or honey BBQ.
