Trader Joe's has released its mini canvas totes and everyone and their mommas are hype over it.

The mini totes come in four different colors: blue, red, green, and yellow.

It is so popular that resellers are hiking up the prices.

The mini tote bags are retailed for $2.99. However, on third-party sellers like eBay, Amazon, and Facebook Marketplace, the bags range anywhere from $20 to $999 for a set of four bags!

AP News shared that,

"Videos shared on social media show crowds of customers visiting Trader Joe’s stores hoping to get their hands on one of the highly-coveted mini totes. Beyond the checkout line, TikTokers have gained tens of thousands of views for sharing and customizing their bags with detail paint, buttons, and embroidery designs."

Nakia Rohde, a spokesperson for Trader Joe's, even spoke about how the company did not expect the bags would sell out that fast.

"Our Mini Canvas Tote Bags certainly sold more quickly than we anticipated. Before we had the opportunity to promote them in any way, customers across the country found them at their neighborhood Trader Joe’s.”

“We do have more Trader Joe’s Mini Canvas Tote Bags coming. Customers can expect to see them in our stores in late summer.”
