Which Michigan City Is Considered One of The World's Greatest Places?

According to the TIME Magazine article, the place you need to stay in Michigan is The Inn at Stonecliffe on Mackinac Island.

Duh! Mackinac Island is always going to win!

Built-in 1904 for a Chicago meatpacking magnate, The Inn at Stonecliffe was a family residence until 1949. It eventually became a hotel in the 1970s.

"After a two-year closure and a $40 million makeover, the public spaces and 16 guest rooms in The Inn at Stonecliffe's Tudor mansion have been completely renovated, with original moldings, stained glass windows, fireplaces, wood floors, gables, and timberwork all painstakingly preserved," according to TIME Magazine.

Owned by the Pulte Family Charitable Foundation, the hotel's net profits go towards the charity's initiatives across the world.

The next time that you visit Mackinac Island, you should stay at The Inn at Stonecliffe to see why TIME Magazine believes it is the World's Greatest Places.

Besides The Inn at Stonecliffe on Mackinac Island, other Midwest destinations were featured as well.

CPKC Stadium and The Rabbit hOle in Kansas City, Missouri are also hot destinations, according to TIME Magazine.
