Michigan man will be on Netflix Squid Game: The Challenge
Lansing resident, Eddie Morris, recently shared his story with WILX-TV.
It sounds like the whole experience started off mysteriously, too.
3 a.m., a black car shows up, picks me up, takes me to the airport. It’s like, I didn’t believe it really until that moment, but then again, it’s like, you’re living this surreal thing that you never thought you’d do, said Morris.
This is a pretty big deal since the scripted series has tens of millions of fans.
The game show has been hanging out in the Top 10 most streamed on Netflix, too.
What is Squid Game: The Challenge?
Contestants of the game compete in "high-stakes children's games" for a shot to win the $4.56 million cash prize.
Like the series, there's competition and people around you are eliminated.
If you've ever been tempted to be on the show, you can apply, here. Just know you have to be at least 21 years of age.
Morris, player 043, made it through six of the 10 episodes in the season according to WILX-TV.
Not sure how we'd feel about being scooped up in a car in the middle of the night. Then, spending a few days to a few weeks competing. You've gotta be the adventurous type.
