Electric Kettles Recalled Over Burn Risk

If you have shopped at a Costco store in Michigan recently, or even in the last couple of years, you will want to check on a few recalls that could be in your home right now.

According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Zwilling J.A. Henckels has recalled about 113,000 electric water kettles after reports of the handles coming off the kettle body or becoming loose.

Not something you'd want happening when it is filled with hot water.

At least 150 people have reported issues with the kettle handles, and at least one person reportedly suffered second-degree burns.

The recalled Zwilling Enfinigy electric kettles were sold at Costco from September 2019 to November 2025. They were also sold at HomeGoods locations, as well as through Zwilling's website.

Patio Swings Recalled Over Fall Hazard

There is also a recall involving 18,500 Menlo Woven Patio Swings by Agio, model number 1934256. These units were sold online and in Costco stores from February 1 through March 2026. The issue involves open S-hooks that could allow the seat to detach from the frame and cause someone to fall backward.

The good news is that the company is offering replacement hooks and instructions to fix the problem.
