CRAG: a steep or rugged cliff or rock face.....
And there is only one Michigan’s Lower Peninsula.

You’ll find it in Grand Ledge’s Oak Park and it is open to climbers of all levels: beginner, amateur, professional...all are welcome. However, rappelling and lead climbing aren’t allowed.

According to michigan.org, “there’s over 100 top rope and bouldering routes to choose from, so it’s got something for everyone.”

Come prepared, as no equipment or instruction are available.

Aside from all the climbs available in Grand Ledge, there is a single boulder in Lake Huron that has a couple lines.....but Grand Ledge has the only crag for climbing in the Michigan Mitten.

So if any of you have any disputes about this being the only crag in the lower peninsula, send your complaints to Pure Michigan.....not me.

A few photos are below.
