Lansing Christian HS Soccer Star Named HS Student-Athlete OF The Week
Dowding Industries and the Lansing Sports Commission present the High School Student-Athlete of the Week.
And this week's honoree is Owen Resch, a senior striker for the Lansing Christian HS boys soccer team.
Owen is off to a great start for the undefeated Pilgrims. He scored five goals in a CMAC victory Perry last week. Later in the week, he scored 4 goals in Christian's 8-0 shutout victory over CMAC foe Laingsburg.
Then, at the Grand Ledge Comet Shootout last Saturday, Owen scored a hat trick (3 goals) in a 4-1 victory over Sturgis. And earlier this week, he scored five goals in an 8-0 shout out win over CMAC rival Dansville.

Owen is an excellent student, achieving a 3.42 grade point average. And he is set to attend Messiah University in Pennsylvania, where he'll play soccer next season.
