Michigan State Police Rescue Dog Stuck In A Tight Spot
Often we hear stories about man's best friend helping rescue a lost child in the woods or alerting a family to a fire that started inside the home.
But sometimes our four legged friends need some saving of their own and that's exactly what happened recently to a dog on a walk with it's owner.

On October 10th Michigan State Police were called to Watervliet Township to help with a dog that had fallen down a hole and became stuck.
At the start of the video we see the trooper walking up to the dogs owner and seeing what the problem was.
Before the trooper attempted to rescue the dog he let the dog smell him so she would trust him and know he was there to help her.
The trooper was able to wrap a rope underneath the dogs front two legs and tighten it up. He tried pulling the dog out but she was not budging.
The dogs owner asked if it would help if he grabbed her front paws and they gave it another try.
That was exactly what was needed because as they both pulled the dog was able to be freed from the hole.
After being pulled out the dog was a bit shaken but after the rope was removed she shook it off and was not hurt or injured.
The thankful dog owner told the office "I bet you never delt with something like this before"
At the very end you can see the hole that the dog got stuck in.
