Social media has lit up Sunday afternoon with folks across the City of Grand Rapids wondering what is going on with their water.

While some have reported no water coming out of their faucets at all, many (like me) are experiencing low and fluctuating water pressure.

Many businesses have been affected by the issue. Several people on Facebook and NextDoor have reported that restaurants and businesses at Knapp’s Corner have closed. Frederik Meijer Gardens also posted that they are closed for the day.

The City of Grand Rapids also took to social media to say they are aware of the issue and working to remedy it as soon as possible. At this time, it appears that the issues are mainly being experienced on the city’s northeast side. (Though the city has received some reports from the southeast side, as well.

This is a developing story.
