This Restaurant is Serving Michigan’s Best Fried Chicken

Popular foodie publication Lovefood.com went on a mission to find the top fried chicken in each state based on reviews, awards, and the experiences of their team.

The restaurant serving up the top fried chicken in Michigan? According to Lovefood, it's Ma Lou's in Ypsilanti.

Previously, Lovefood declared Ma Lou's served the best chicken sandwich in Michigan, specifically shouting out the OG which combines fried breast or thigh with Cheddar, smoked Gouda, slaw, and pickles. Their other pick is the Hot Chick, in which the fried chicken is finished with a Nashville hot baste and served with bacon, lettuce, tomato, jalapeño ranch, and pepper Jack cheese.

Chicken isn't the only thing on menu at Ma Lou's. You'll also find Smash Burgers, Fried Fish, and Shrimp Po' Boys. Sides include Onion Rings, Potato Salad, Hush Puppies, Collared Greens, Fries, and Baked Beans.
