Michigan-Based Pizza Chain Opens New Grand Rapids Restaurant

A new option for pizza, subs, wings, and more has come to Grand Rapids!

Cottage Inn Pizza first opened in Ann Arbor in 1948. It was reportedly the first restaurant to serve pizza in the city. In 1975, the restaurant began expanding. Since then, Cottage Inn has opened more than 50 locations in Michigan and Ohio.

In West Michigan, you'll find Cottage Inn Pizza locations in Allendale, Kalamazoo, and Niles - and now, East Grand Rapids!

The new Cottage Inn Pizza is located at 1533 Wealthy St Suite B. It's grand opening is Oct. 1, 10a.m. to 4p.m.

They'll be offering $8 medium cheese or pepperoni pizzas, limit one per customer. Plus, get signed up to win pizza for a year.

Cottage Inn serves gourmet pizzas like Hot Honey Chicken, Smokehouse BBQ, BLT, Chicken Mediterranean, The Cuban, Motor City Meatball, and Philly Steak Supreme.

You'll find a  bunch of vegetarian options too, like Greek, Roma Pesto, and Spinach Alfredo.

You have the option to build your own pizza too, with Cottage Inn's fresh dough, signature sauce, gourmet cheese, and more than 30 ingredients. Choose from deep dish, round, or thin crust.

Other menu options include oven-toasted subs, salads, calzones, wings, cheese bread, breadsticks, and lasagna.

For desserts, choose from Apple Pie Pizza, Chocolate Chip or Sugar Cookies, or Cinnamon sticks.

They have a whole gluten free menu as well!
