Once again, technology has helped our world advance in so many ways but at the same time has created laziness and other problems within our world. It seems like technology has helped us streamline many services we need but has also opened the door to many problems that affect our daily lives. We see recalls on everything from toys and vehicles to clothing and food items. Whether something goes wrong in the planning or manufacturing processes. the items must be returned or disposed of to reduce the number of injuries that occur. In some cases, these recalls can protect people from serious illness or even death. There are plenty of people who this doesn't affect, but you may want to know about this if you are a carnivore in Michigan.

This time, many of the meat products that we have purchased or plan to purchase from a store may be infected with bacteria. This isn't the first time this year that we have had to take a look at our meats because of a possible bacteria outbreak. In fact, this outbreak is from the exact same bacteria as the last meat recall a couple of months ago.

BrucePac, which is a company that provides ready to eat meat and poultry products to restaurants and other food institutions. They service a large portion of the country as this recall is for a whopping 9,986,245 pounds of meat and poultry. The meat and poultry are being taken off of shells and thrown away due to a listeria outbreak.

This recall comes after a routine test by the USDA, and they found trace amounts of Listeria monocytogenes in BrucePac products. There is not a full list of items yet as this is one of the largest recalls in history, so to be safe be cautious with any BrucePac products for the moment.
