WILX.com reports that the Ingham County Health department is requiring all food service establishments within the county to cut their occupancy limits in half, effective Monday, March 16 at 5:00 PM.

The capacity cuts are to remain in place until April 5 at 5:00 PM. Those who disregard the order will be subject to misdemeanor charges by state law, with up to 90 days in jail and $200 in fines.

Bars, restaurants, private clubs, banquet halls, fraternal organizations, and other facilities are affected by the order.
