TODAY IN HISTORY - 5/29:

1942 - Bing Crosby records "White Christmas", greatest selling record to date

1978 - US 1st class postage rises to 15 cents (13 cents for 3 years).  Now, the current rate for 1st class postage stamps is 49-cents.  Most of us purchase "forever" stamps which are still valid when rates increase.

1999 - Space Shuttle Discovery completes the first docking with the International Space Station.
