Hot Air Balloons Are Coming To Lansing

If the weather cooperates, there's a good chance that you'll see a hot air balloon this weekend in the Lansing area as the Greater Lansing Balloon Festival will be taking place on Saturday, August 24th at the Hope Sports Complex on Aurelius Road in Lansing. A morning balloon launch is scheduled to take place bright and early—at 7 AM—for the event. The official festival hours for the Greater Lansing Balloon Festival are from 3 PM until 9 PM on Saturday. That's when the Kid Zone will open and you'll also be able to check out the vendor booths, a balloon walk, helicopter rides, live entertainment and more.

Besides the early morning balloon launch, they'll also be having a balloon launch between 6 PM and 7 PM on Saturday. That launch is also weather permitting. A balloon glow is set to take place between 8 PM and 8:30 PM on Saturday, as well. The cost is $10 per car. You can click here go get more details.
