The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train - a 1,000 foot long train decorated with Christmas lights, will travel through Michigan tonight. It won't be stopping.

Last year, the Holiday Train came through Adrian, Michigan at about 10:45PM. According to MLive.com, THIS year, you can check the progress of the train, as it travels from Windsor, Ontario to Gurnee, Illinois at CPholidaytrain.ca. You should be able to see it in Detroit, Romulus, Milan, Adrian and points westward in southern Michigan.

I have seen comments on the Holiday Train Facebook page that lead me to believe you WON'T be able to track the train through Michigan in real time, since the train will be on track belonging to Amtrack and not Canadian Pacific. The best advice is to follow comments on the Facebook page, where people will give you a good idea about where and when it will go through each town.
