Sure you could get your Dad some beer for Father's Day or maybe another gift card, but if you really want to show your dad how much you love him, maybe you should buy him a historic lighthouse in Michigan. I should warn you, though, that it's going to set you back a few bucks. According to the Lost In Michigan Facebook page, the historic Mendota Lighthouse which is way Up North is for sale.

The Mendota Lighthouse was built back in 1895 and is located near a man-made canal on Bete Grise Bay in the Keweenaw Peninsula. The lighthouse is also sometimes referred to as the Beta Grise Lighthouse. According to Lost In Michigan, the lighthouse was purchased back in 1996 by a guy named Gary Kohs. He purchased the lighthouse for  $500,000 and is now selling the historic lighthouse for $495,000. (See, I told you that it was going to set you back a few dollars.)
