Of course, it all depends on your mood and your taste. I like to get your input. I asked where to go get the best meal in Lansing and you stepped to the plate and hit a homer again.

The best meal, if we are talking straight-up food, can be entirely different from what I think and what you think. I also appreciate the feedback because it gives me more options for food I want to try locally. I prefer non-chain restaurants.

For me, if I am going with the "best" burger I am going to roll with Dagwood's, although Olympic Broil is solid. You get the idea. Of course, the overall dining experience is a part of the "best" meal, right? Some places have outstanding food but terrible service. Thank you for the feedback!

They're located at 318 W. Kipp Road, Mason, MI 48854. Their Chicago-style pizza is about as close as it gets to the Windy City.

They're located at 2722 E Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI 48912. Although I've only been here once, the rave reviews entice me to go back. I need to try the scallops.

The MEAT Mountain at MEAT BBQ

They're located at 1224 Turner Rd, Lansing, MI 48906. Hands down one of the best meals I have eaten is the MEAT Mountain. This comes loaded up with brisket, pork, bacon gravy, their version of creamed corn (it's amazing), bacon, cheese, and basically the kitchen sink.

Topopo Salad From El Azteco

They're located at 1016 W Saginaw St, Lansing, MI 48915. El Azteco has some of the best Mexican food in town. Their cheese dip is awesome and the Topopo salad is huge and tasty.

Coconut Shrimp from Stillwater Grill

They're located at 3544 Meridian Crossing Dr, Okemos, MI 48864. The food is pretty good, and they are known for their coconut shrimp.

Smothered Chicken From Lucky's Steakhouse

They're located at 3554 Okemos Rd, Okemos, MI 48864. The food is good and they have amazing smothered chicken.

Chicken Tenders From Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

They're located at 5719 W Saginaw Hwy, Lansing, MI 48917. I haven't been there in a while, but the chicken tenders were always tasty.

El Chupacabra Pizza Sleepwalker Spirits and Ale

They're located at 1101 S Washington Ave, Lansing, MI 48910. I haven't been here, but listeners rave about the El Chupacabra pizza that has refried black beans with enchilada sauce, house blend & Chihuahua cheese, chorizo, red onions, tomato, cilantro, and avocado salsa.

Chicken From One North Kitchen & Bar

They're located at 5001 W Saginaw Hwy, Lansing, MI 48917. One North took over the old Reno's West. All I have heard is "this place is amazing". The chicken in the picture looks good. The New York Strip is a favorite of regulars.

They're located at 2803 E Kalamazoo St, Lansing, MI 48912. They have good food at a cheap price. Anything on the menu goes, but if you're an olive fan, you'll love the olive burger.

Prime Rib From The English Inn

They're located at 677 S Michigan Rd, Eaton Rapids, MI 48827. If you want to get out for a romantic dinner, English Inn is the place. Their beef wellington is satisfying, but the prime rib is the best.

Falafel From Bread Bites Mediterranean

They're located at 5100 Marsh Rd C, Okemos, MI 48864. Bread Bites offers fresh, clean food. The shwarmas are awesome. The falafel is outstanding. The tahini makes it pop.

Pink Ladies From Sushi Moto

They're located at 436 Elmwood Rd, Lansing, MI 48917. This is my favorite sushi place in Lansing. Their best dish is a piece of salmon sashimi, rolled and stuffed with spicy tuna. If I had one food to pick to eat for the rest of my life, that would be it, they're called Pink Ladies.

All-You-Can-Eat Sushi From Ohana

They're located at 707 Brookside Dr, Lansing, MI 48917. I love sushi, and if it's all-you-can-eat, I'm in. Solid sushi, all you can eat, that's a no-brainer.

Cookies From Bee's Knee's Bakery

They're located at 11820 Airport Rd, DeWitt, MI 48820. These are hands down the best cookies in mid-Michigan. The problem for me is that I can't stop eating them.
