We're about a month into this pandemic and while things are easing, this has been very tough on a lot of businesses. Especially restaurants. But one Michigan company is doing so well, they're hiring 10,000 more people to deal with the increased business. That company is Domino's Pizza.

According to CNBC, U.S. sales for Domino's rose 10.7% from March 23 to April 19, compared to a year ago. Sales at locations open at least a year rose 7.1%.

Hey, people can't go out, so they do what they've always done when they need food delivered - they call for pizza. (Plus, with all that drinking going on - you gotta have some carbs) In fact, weekend and late night sales are DOWN and week-DAY sales are up.

The brain trust at Domino's isn't stupid, though. They admit that they don't know where any of this is going. According to CEO Jeff Lawrence:

It is early in this crisis,” Lawrence said. “We just don’t know how consumer behavior will ebb and flow.

Hang in there. I think things are about to get better. And then the real pizza parties can start again.
