Health Alert Issued For Salads & Wraps Sold At Kroger And Walgreens
A health alert was issued this week for salad and wrap products that were/are available in major grocery chains. The recall is because of concerns about possible parasite contamination. The USDA says that the beef, pork and poultry salad and wrap products were distributed by Caito Foods LLC, an Indianapolis, Indiana establishment.
The beef, pork and poultry salad and wrap items were produced between July 15 to 18, 2018, with the either “Best By,” “Enjoy by,” Best if Sold By” or “Sell By” dates ranging from July 18 through July 23, 2018. The products affected by the recall were sold at Kroger, Walgreens and Trader Joe's. It involves over a dozen different products. Click here to see the items being recalled.
