Go-Kart Racing Is Coming Back To Okemos

Go-kart racing is coming back to Okemos but this time around it will be indoors. Remember when there was go-kart racing available at Funtyme off of Jolly Road in Okemos? You know, the place that also had the giant dome for indoor golf? I miss that place...our family had a lot of fun there back in the day.

Anyway, here's the good news if you're a fan of go-kart racing. The Lansing State Journal says that a company called High Caliber Karting and Entertainment is planning to open an indoor karting track in Okemos. The track will apparently be part of the Meridian Mall's former Younker's space. They're hoping to open by the end of summer and besides go-karting, the facility will also have ax-throwing lanes, arcade games, a full bar and bistro and TWO indoor racing tracks.
