The Greater Lansing Food Bank hosted a mobile pantry over the weekend at Lansing Catholic High School and according to a post on their Facebook page, they were able to serve 370 families at the Saturday morning event. Volunteers with the Greater Lansing Food Bank are planning to hold another mobile pantry coming up on Saturday, April 25th. Keep in mind that the event this Saturday is only open to residents of Shiawassee County and you will need to bring proof of residency such as a valid driver's license or Michigan ID.

At the mobile pantry on Saturday, they will be providing free fresh & non-perishable food from 9 am until 11am (or until all the food is distributed) at the Owosso First United Methodist Church at 1500 North Water Street. Organizers of the event want to remind you that you need to stay in your vehicle and food will be placed in your trunk and/or hatchback. CLICK HERE to get more information about the event. If you have any questions, you can call the Greater Lansing Food Bank at (517) 908-3680.
