Giant Bottom-Feeder Caught on Michigan’s Grand River
Michigan has a new fishing record. On the Friday before Memorial Day, Brandonn Kramer of Muskegon caught a 46.5-pound, 39.75-inch black buffalo sucker fish. According to MLive.com, Brandonn was bow-fishing on the Grand River in Ottawa County (between Grand Rapids and Lake Michigan) when he got it. The record was officially verified by the DNR this week. This beats the old record for black buffalo, from 2015, by exactly two pounds. That fish was also caught on the Grand River, in Ottawa County. Guess we all know where to go now for these things.
Congratulations, Brandonn! Here's the story.
