Frankie Ballard, The Cadillac Three and Applebee's. What do they all have in common? More than you may think.

Have you seen the commercial for Applebee's Whisky Bacon Burger? If so, you may recognize that Frankie Ballard's hit, "Sunshine & Whiskey" is a part of the soundtrack.

That's the Applebee's and Frankie Ballard connection, but how does The Cadillac Three fit in here?

"Sunshine And Whiskey" was co-written by Luke Laird and Jaren Johnston. Jaren is a member of The Cadillac Three. He's the guy in the front left of the photo below.

Now, the final connection? The Cadillac Three were one of the stars of Taste of Country 2016 at Cooley Law Stadium. Frankie is one of the stars at this year's festival, sponsored by Your Neighborhood Michigan Ford Dealers.
