2026 is shaping up to be an excellent year as far as new eateries and cafes are concerned. And now, we have another one we can add onto the list.

A New Coffee Shop is Opening in East Lansing

East Lansing is about to have a brand new place to get your caffeine fix at. Get ready to welcome Foxtail Coffee Co. to town!

Foxtail Coffee Co. is a Florida-based coffee chain. And while it's not new to Michigan, it is new to the greater Lansing area.

When Foxtail Coffee Co. Opens

Mark your calendar for Tuesday, March 31 — that's when Foxtail Coffee Co. is having its Grand Opening celebration. The doors will open at 7 am and there will be all kinds of things going on to celebrate the grand opening until 1 pm:

Free gift bags for the first 50 guests
Complimentary gelato for kids 12 and under
Samples of their favorite drinks

You can find this new coffee shop at 431 E Grand River Avenue in Downtown East Lansing. When the doors open, you can expect all the usual offerings one might find at a coffee shop — brewed, iced, lattes, and more. But there are also more specialty beverages like the maple pancake latte.

MSU students, faculty, and coffee lovers will certainly have plenty of places to choose from when Foxtail Coffee Co. opens. Where it's opening is less-than-a-mile-stretch in East Lansing that is home to eight other coffee shops; Biggby, Poindexter Coffee, Strange Matter Coffee MSU Union, Foster Coffee Company, Château Coffee Co, Angela's Cafe, Haraz Coffee House, and Moka & Co.
